Welcome to Hallowed-cast

Hello, my name is Steven and here we are, Nov 1st, 364 days until it is Halloween again. I wanted to create this podcasts for those who, like myself, feel Halloween isn't just a once a year thing, it's a lifestyle. And I want to help keep the spooky and scary vibes going year round. I live in central California so we get maybe a good week or two of Fall weather, then Winter for a bit, spring for two weeks and straight back into summer. So keeping that Halloween spirit alive and thriving can be hard, especially when the weather is in the 100’s for an entire month. That Halloween feeling can be so connected to the weather that it just doesn't feel like Halloween when it's in the 90’s, the tress are still green, flowers are still blooming and the only cool breeze is generated from the AC at full blast. But enough of dreading the return of summer, let's bask in autumn while it's here. Ready your PSL’s, that's pumpkin spice lattes for those of you who are not as basic as me, open the windows and enjoy the cold wind. November brings lots of ways to keep the spooky around. Today, actually is dia de Los muertous, day of the dead, celebrated in Mexico to honor the dead, ofrendas, or altars are set up with pictures of those who've moved on from this mortal world and offerings of their favorite foods and drinks. so happy dia de Los muertous to those who celebrate, and to those spirits that still remain. Here on the Hallowed Cast we'll be talking about movies, shows, games, comics, a scary story or two, basically if it's creepy, scary, spooky or downright dreadful we'll discuss it here.
